Lots going on... this is a good one so read up.
The last year for us for a few months is this Saturday night (November 19th) at Chasers (Hayden & Roosevelt in Scottsdale, AZ). It is the birthday party for well known and often touched/rubbed Scotty of Moshpit fame. If you've been to one of our shows in the last 37 years, you'd probably seen him running around. His face is gigantic on the flyer below. Purchase beer and other assorted alcoholic beverages for him. He doesn't do drugs but you could probably talk him into it if you practiced your delivery in the mirror for awhile. No tickets... $5 cover at the door and is 21+ (sorry fellows and our beloved street team, we owe you stuff). Bands involved are of course Rising Conviction, The Dames, Toxic Knowledge, and acoustic BLDG5 with Scotty apparently doing something up there... probably either dancing or dancing. In other news... Salazar Brothers co-producer David "Rez" Torres (guitarist in Beyond The Now) is currently working on a remix version of Shudder. We heard a little bit of his idea back when we were doing last bit of production early this year and it sounds really cool. It is not for sure yet HOW we will be releasing this, but we certainly will... it will probably be available to people who have a copy of Salazar Brothers and have found the secret in the artwork.
Pre-production is almost complete and we are almost ready to get back in the studio. We are recording three songs for use on a demo... which is the first step in getting funding for the creation of certain things, one of which may or may not include a new album. That's the future... these songs will NOT be released initially, though you can expect a release of other items in the coming months. More on this as we get further along and make some more decisions.
