Floyd and I are going balls out promoting the next show, this weekend in LAKE HAVASU! The last time we went it was complete chaos... follow the archives back a few years and you'll hear all about it, or, I'll do it for you. Hang on.

Here it is. OOOOLLLLDDDD ass version of the site with the recap on the last Havasu show. Read it and vomit blood.

If you live in Lake Havasu city or the surrounding 6 states, here is the show info.

See you there. We are meeting (meaning talking to on myspace) a lot of new people from the area with our latest SPAM onslaught. It seems to be working. We've managed to wade through the masses of onoriginal emo trash, past tens of thousands of bands with 'the', 'heart', or 'bleed' in their names... right on the faces of a billion kids screaming their asses off under their hair covered eyes to NUMERO UNO of all unsigned bands in all genres in Arizona, and soon to break the top 50 nation wide (currently at 67). Get on our myspace profile and help out, its pretty. http://www.myspace.com/risingconviction.

Oh ya, and tickets are on sale for November 5th!

Lots going on...

Thanks to anyone that came out on Saturday to the show at Chasers. Numbers were few, but everyone flipped out a lot. Had a surprise visit from kick ass film-maker Shonie from Sheephead Films, who stuck around to film the show. Jason also filmed the show, so expect any combination of these to be on the site as soon as we can. With everything going on right now, everyone in the band is extremely busy, so it may be just a bit.

At the show we met a fellow from Nocturnal Radio, who gave us a spin last night. Thanks to them, I got to hear it and they had some very complimentary things to say about Saturday Night's Set.

Bigger news... we all met up at my disgusting apartment Saturday morning to call in to Eban from the Reaching For Lucidity Podcast, who has featured us many times in the last month or so (they are all listed to your left). He decided to not only interview us, but dedicate the entire episode to us. We talked about a lot of things, played a few songs, and became very, very vulgar. Listen to it right here.

Lots of shit coming up! For you new people, a FREE show is at Zia Records in Chandler this Saturday (the 15th). We are going to play for a long time and try and sell some cds... starting at 6 or 7. The following weekend, we head to Lake Havasu City, to play with our old friends Helliphino and Soul Clown. The lineup for November 5th was just comfirned, and includes some great bands. Tickets and information for that show will be available very, very soon... and the show for Scotty's birthday show (yes, a lot of those this year) was just put up on November 19th. Lots coming up, ending with a huge year-ender at the Marquee theater. info info info coming soon soon dflblajskfd lkjsdfa jklafs jfklffklajs sllfksa fklsaj fslkj aflsdl fk ljfalkjasfkl aslk sflj sfdljk

On Saturday we packed up all our equipment and headed to the 19th Avenue Zia Records store to play a free show for terrified onlookers. David's screaming at people convinced two people to purchase the album. Then we were out of cds at that store. Unfortunate. They should be back soon.

The set was short and strange. Hours later I got a call from Dave. Turns out he and Floyd went to The Sets to see our pals Helliphino (who did not end up playing) and while Floyd was in the bathroom, Dave set up a Sunday night show at the place that we would not promote for (so it didn't interfere with our previous engagements). Last night we showed up and played for two people. Greg with the camera, and Scotty of mosh pit fame who appeared out of the mist during sound checks. Good practice, but a lot to get dressed up for.

Earlier in the week, Dave was roaming the streets of Chandler with a gun searching for the filthy rat of the skies, the pigeon. They are constantly bothering him and his family and he was happy to send us these photos as PROOF that he has had revenge against the avian assholes.

In addition, Floyd and I rode around on horses for a work activity. We do not like horses because they smell bad and are always really pissed off. Here are three photos. Floyd is not in any of them for some reason that is UNKNOWN.

Wrestling with the great beast.

Here is some horse that I did not ride.

In this photo I am threatening the horse

That is a lot to happen in one week. Andro Mandible did have some sort of goings on, but we have no idea what they could be. He did purchase a video camera, so I assume there will be all sorts of worthwhile(less) postings as soon as he figures out what a firewire cable is. Here is an important announcement:
