On a much more positive note, our next show is December 11th at Chasers in Scottsdale, with local epics BLDG5, Fred Green, along with The Busticles, and Razer. It's Chasers' 6th year anniversary party, and if it is anything like last year's it will be pretty crazy. There will be some great drink specials that night too, so plan on having a looong ass night. I also hear there may be an afterparty... we will see.

If you were at last Saturday's show at Cooperstown
and were there to see Rising Conviction, just email and tell us about it, and there will be no charge for you. If you happen to be under 21 and unfortunately cannot attend this show, email anyway, and we will put you on the guest list for our show February 5th.

We have lots of discussion going on in our forum, so join if you like. It's a good time.

So some of you may have read here and there that we played a show at Chasers
this last Friday.
We played with our good friends in Zara, Nexus, and Shades of Silver. This was a going away party for our friends in Zara, who are off to California. If you happened to be there that night, you heard the new song DRUGS. What did you think?

I personally wanted to apologize for Cooperstown, last weekend and the weekend before. Anyplace that treats our friends like that is no friend of ours. When a security guard from Top Dog or Big Dog or whatever puts there hands on you and tells you to stop jumping around because "its not that kind of show", well... thats just lame. It IS that kind of show, it's a rock concert and you should be acting out. So, we're sorry for the way you were treated and we're sorry for those who came and spent their hard earned money just to have the show rained out.

So, I'm not too thrilled with 'certain things' and I'll leave it at that. If you were at the show I'm sure you feel the same way about 'certain things'..Thank you so much to everyone that came out to CoopersTown. Rising Conviction isn't responsible for some 'certain things' and we want you to know how much we do appreciate youS guyS coming out and trooping it. I do apologize. We will be throwing a free show for youS guyS, to make up for the 'certain things' that happened. Keep an eye out. good night

PAPPAS II was great. Thanks to everyone that came out to support the bands and the cause. There were a ton of people there and the sound was great. We had a lot of help from a lot of people, and it paid off. All demo CDs were taken and all email list slots were filled thanks to you guys. This means that I need to get off my ass here and get a real street team going.

Gail sent in some pictures late last night after the show... here they are.

The next show is NEXT SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 20th, back at Cooperstown. Last night was great, so lets recreate it in 7 days and keep Cooperstown on its toes. The show is ALL AGES, and the cover is $7 at the door. Everyone grab as many friends as you can so we can make this grow together. This time we will make sure that we are able to play Drugs, since we were unable to last night due to time limitations.

Everyone sure seems pissed off today. Stop it, because PAPPAS II is coming up in two weeks! Briggs from Keddah told me that the first round of tickets was sent out the other day, so expect yours in the mail soon. Looks like this is shaping up to be the biggest local show of the year in the Valley, just based on tickets put out though the mail alone. You better make it out... don't want to be the only local music fan in the city that doesn't come. Get your tickets!

Last month we did a short interview via email with the people at AZHardcoreMetal.com. Check it out here.

Also, it seems that the preferred candidate of Rising Conviction, Shark Handcock, has won the big election. He will be assassinated within 3 weeks as a prize.
